PENGARUH MINUMAN KERAS TERHADAP TERJADINYA KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS (Suatu Studi di Sat Lantas Polres Konawe)

Abstract

The objectives of the study were: 1). To determine the factors causing traffic violations due to the influence of alcoholic beverages in Konawe Regency. 2). To determine efforts to overcome traffic violations due to the influence of alcoholic beverages. This study was conducted in Konawe Regency, precisely at the Konawe Police Traffic Unit, using the type of research, namely empirical normative. The data collection method used was document study, field surveys and interviews using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen: 1. Factors causing traffic violations in Konawe Regency apart from the factor of drinking alcoholic beverages can also occur due to: a). human factors (drivers) which are usually called (internal factors) include. lack of knowledge from drivers, low education from drivers, lack of skills and chasing deposits. b). factors of facilities and infrastructure (external factors), inadequate road conditions (many roads are damaged and have holes). Lack of traffic signs. 2. Efforts that need to be made to overcome traffic violations in Konawe Regency, namely: a). Preventive efforts. intended is the handling carried out before a traffic accident occurs. b). Repressive prevention efforts are carried out in the form of imposing heavy penalties, as well as heavy fines and imposing additional criminal penalties on the perpetrator of the violation, confiscating the perpetrator's assets/documents that are related to traffic violations.
