<p><em>Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial/IPS) learning at the elementary school level plays a crucial role in developing students’ social awareness, sense of justice, and capacity to live harmoniously in diverse societies. However, instructional practices in elementary Social Studies classrooms often lack sensitivity to gender equality issues, which limits their contribution to promoting social inclusion. This study aims to systematically examine gender-responsive Social Studies learning strategies that can foster social inclusion in elementary education. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review by analyzing 25 national and international peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2024. Data were collected from Google Scholar, ERIC, Scopus, and nationally accredited journals indexed in SINTA. The selected studies were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key concepts, pedagogical principles, instructional strategies, and their implications for gender equality and social inclusion. The findings reveal that gender-responsive Social Studies instruction contributes significantly to more equitable, participatory, and inclusive classroom environments. Effective strategies include heterogeneous cooperative learning, problem-based learning grounded in social issues, reflective discussions, role-play activities, and the integration of gender-sensitive digital literacy. These approaches enhance equal student participation, strengthen social empathy, and reduce gender bias in classroom interactions. <p><em>This study aims to explore the integration of character education into Social Studies (IPS) learning as an effort to address students' moral crisis. The current moral crisis among students includes a low awareness of ethical values and responsible behavior in everyday life. In this context, character education is considered an effective approach to building a strong moral foundation through teaching values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and respect for others. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach in several elementary schools. Data were collected through interviews with teachers and students, observations of the social studies learning process that integrated character education, and documentation. The results indicate that integrating character education into social studies learning can strengthen students' understanding of the importance of moral and ethical values in their social lives. <p><em>This study aims to determine the effect of using a solar system diorama as an instructional medium on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 92 Kendari. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which received learning using the diorama medium, and the control class, which used conventional media in the form of pictures in the textbook. The data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire developed based on the ARCS model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction). The data were analyzed using prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), followed by hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples T-Test. The results showed a significant difference in students' learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. The mean posttest score of the control class was 69.70, while the experimental class achieved a higher mean score of 87.69, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. It can be concluded that the use of a solar system diorama as an instructional medium has a positive and significant influence on increasing students' learning motivation. <p><em>This is a descriptive qualitative study aimed at describing teachers' perceptions of the Kurikulum Merdeka, the latest curricullum launched in 2025. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, utilizing primary and secondary data sources. Five teachers from different subjects served as data sources. The results indicate that teachers' perceptions of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SDN 16 Lakudo, Central Buton Regency, are generally positive. Teachers acknowledged that the Kurikulum Merdeka can increase student engagement and foster creativity in learning. However, several barriers to implementation were identified, such as technological developments. Efforts to overcome these barriers include increasing the use of technology and providing adequate facilities. Based on the aforementioned research findings, it can be concluded that the majority of teachers at SDN 16 Lakudo, Central Buton Regency, responded positively to the Kurikulum Merdeka in learning. <p><em>This study aims to examine the effect of using animation media on students’ cognitive learning outcomes in Natural Science (IPA) at the fifth grade of SD Negeri 66 Kendari. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 51 students, comprising 26 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test administered during the pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using a t-test after conducting normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class taught with animation media was 83.00, which was higher than the control class score of 66.28. The t-test result indicated a significant difference between the two groups, with t-value 13.477 > t-table 2.009 at a 0.05 significance level. <p><em>The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the use of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media in the Independent Curriculum in Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari, and (2) to identify the inhibiting and supporting factors of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media in the Independent Curriculum in Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 66 Kendari, located in Punggolaka Village, Puuwatu District, Kendari City in June 2025. The subjects of this study are: the Principal of SD Negeri 66 Kendari, teachers, and students of Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show that: (1) the use of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media in the Independent Curriculum in Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari runs according to the lesson plans made by the teacher, despite some obstacles, the teachers always strive to apply interactive learning media in the classroom. The use of interactive learning media can improve learning outcomes and make learning activities enjoyable and not monotonous, 2) Inhibiting factors in the use of interactive learning media are the lack of teacher ability in creating and developing interactive learning media, as well as limited supporting facilities so that not all classes use interactive learning media at the same time.
