Desain Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) Berbasis 7 Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat untuk Siswa SD
Abstract
This study aims to design a Project-Based Learning model aligned with the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5), incorporating the "7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children" as a framework for character development in elementary school students. The research is motivated by the need to implement character education that is contextual, reflective, and embedded in students’ real-life experiences. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, involving teachers and students from selected elementary schools that have implemented the P5 program. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the integration of the 7 Habits—honesty, discipline, perseverance, creativity, care, responsibility, and helpfulness—into P5 projects significantly contributes to the internalization of character values among students. The project themes, such as environmental awareness and local wisdom, provided students with meaningful learning experiences that enhanced critical thinking, collaboration, and emotional literacy. Teachers acted as facilitators and role models, while reflective journals and peer discussions supported students’ self-awareness. The study also highlights the importance of school-family collaboration in sustaining character development beyond the classroom. In conclusion, the designed P5 project model based on the 7 Habits offers a practical and adaptable framework to support character education in line with the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum and the holistic development of elementary school students.
