TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS TERHADAP TERJADINYA TINDAK KEKERASAN YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH ANGGOTA KEPOLISIAN (Suatu Studi di Polda Sultra)

Abstract

This study aims: To determine the factors that cause acts of violence committed by members of the Police in Kendari City, and To determine the efforts made to overcome acts of violence committed by members of the Police in Kendari City. This study was conducted in Kendari City from December to February 2017. The data obtained in this study were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, with the following steps: Before analyzing the data, the secondary data obtained through literature studies and primary data obtained through interviews were first organized. Furthermore, a systematic classification was carried out to facilitate data analysis. Analyzed qualitatively using a legal approach from secondary data sources. The results of the study show that: The factors that cause violent crimes committed by members of the police are: Personal psychological factors, environmental factors, corps pride factors, habit factors and economic factors, while the efforts made to overcome the occurrence of violent crimes committed by members of the police are: Preventive efforts and repressive efforts and rehabilitation. The preventive efforts that need to be made to overcome or minimize the occurrence of criminal acts/crimes committed by members of the police are with a spiritual and mental approach to police members by increasing worship activities.
