PROPAM DALAM PENEGAKAN KODE ETIK PROFESI KEPOLISIAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA (POLRI) (Suatu Studi Di Propam Polda Sultra)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of PROPAM in enforcing the code of ethics of the Indonesian National Police profession against members of the Indonesian National Police who violate the code of ethics in the area of ​​the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, and to determine the obstacles faced by PROPAM in enforcing the Code of Professional Ethics against members of the Indonesian National Police who commit violations and to determine PROPAM's efforts in overcoming obstacles to enforcing the Code of Professional Ethics against members of the Indonesian National Police who commit violations. This study is more comprehensive and objective, the data collected will be analyzed qualitatively and then described. The results of the study indicate that the Role of Propam in enforcing the code of ethics of the Indonesian National Police profession in Sulawesi, the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, in this case the Bidpropam of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police has made efforts in the form of processing violations of the Code of Professional Ethics of the Indonesian National Police that occurred and were carried out by members of the Indonesian National Police who served in the ranks of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police throughout 2013-2016. Of the total violations, there were 113 cases of violations committed by members of the Polri Polda Sultra and 62 cases have been decided by the Polri Professional Code of Ethics hearing and 46 others are still in process.
