TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGI TERHADAP KEJAHATAN PENCURIAN YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH ANAK (Suatu Studi di Kabupaten Kolaka)

Abstract

The purpose of this study aims: 1) To determine the factors that cause theft committed by children 2) To determine the efforts made to overcome the crime of theft committed by children. This study was conducted in Kolaka Regency, with a juridical research method, namely an approach based on laws and regulations and an empirical method, namely an approach using the legal behavior of children who commit theft. Based on the results of the study, it is also known that the factors that cause children to commit theft in Kolaka Regency, especially on the Kolaka - Bajoe Ferry are economic influences, the influence of friends / environment, pride and never getting formal or non-formal education. The Kolaka Port Police have made efforts to overcome the crime of theft, namely by conducting operations or raids and control, but the efforts made by the Police have not received support from the River and Coastal Transportation (ASDP) Always giving children the opportunity to sell on the Kolaka - Bajoe Ferry. Many legal instruments that provide guarantees for children's rights have not been able to achieve maximum results, the deficiency is that many children cannot enjoy their rights and the welfare of children has not been realized, the cause is difficulties in terms of finance or economy.
