Abstract
This study aims to determine the procedures for the implementation of confiscated objects and state confiscated goods at the Kendari Class I Rupbasan have been managed in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations and the obstacles faced by the Prosecutor in optimizing state confiscated objects and state confiscated goods. The study was conducted in Kendari City, precisely at the Kendari Class I Rupbasan Office. This study uses descriptive research because the data obtained in the field are presented descriptively using the empirical normative approach method. Based on the analysis of the data and facts that the author has obtained, the author concludes, among others: a) Confiscated objects are stored in the State Confiscated Objects Storage House or abbreviated as Rupbasan. Rupbasan is the only place to store all kinds of confiscated objects needed as evidence in the trial process, including goods that are declared confiscated based on a judge's decision and the objects are prohibited from being used by anyone. b) The storage of the confiscated objects is carried out as well as possible and the responsibility lies with the authorized official according to the level of examination in the trial process and the objects are prohibited from being used by anyone. , to ensure that the nature, quantity and/or form of evidence does not change which could make it difficult for the Public Prosecutor to prove the defendant's guilt, the mechanism for receiving, storing and arranging the evidence must be structured so that it has not been optimized to return state financial losses, around 150 confiscated items are in the State Confiscated Goods Storage House (Rupbasan), the Prosecutor's Office only stops when the verdict is issued and sentences the convict of the criminal act.
