Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of education of the General Election Commission of Muna Regency in increasing voter participation in the Regional Election of Muna Regency. To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the General Election Commission of Muna Regency in increasing voter participation in the Regional Election of Muna Regency. This study was conducted at the General Election Commission (KPU) of Muna Regency on the grounds that it was there that the researcher obtained data to complete the thesis as a final assignment in college. By using data collection techniques using Interview Techniques, interviews are meetings of two people to exchange information and ideas through questions and answers, so that meaning can be constructed in a particular topic. Observation Techniques, observation is a complex process, a process that consists of various biological and psychological processes. Two of the most important are the processes of observation and memory. Documentation Techniques, documents are records of past events. Documents can be in the form of writing, pictures, or monumental works of a person. Documents in the form of writing for example diaries, life histories, stories, biographies, regulations, policies. Documents in the form of images for example photos, moving pictures, sketches and others. Documents in the form of works such as works of art, which can be in the form of pictures, statues, films and others. Document studies are a complement to the use of observation and interview methods in qualitative research. Literature study, is a theoretical description material or reference taken based on certain guide books related to the author's research title. The results of this study indicate that political participation in Muna Regency this year has increased quite well, although not completely. However, with this increase, it is hoped that voter participation and political awareness in the Muna Regency community can have a good impact on the democratic system. This increase in political participation is also expected to be able to boost the spirit of democracy in the community in Muna Regency
